Welcome To Martley CC
Welcome to the homepage of Martley Cricket Club.
Martley are a friendly village club, and currently have two teams competing on a Saturday in the Worcestershire County League Division 4. The 2012 season sees the club competing in Division 2 of the Worcester Evening League.
In addition, there are regular Sunday friendly games throughout the season offering a chance for 'social' and younger players to get regular adult cricket. In the winter, the club plays in the Worcestershire Cricket Board Indoor League, finishing 1st in 2012 in the Monday night league – an achievement in only the third season in which they have competed in this format of the game.
The Club also has a thriving youth section, and welcome new members at all levels. Martley are affiliated with the Worcestershire Cricket Board, and junior nets take place on Friday nights with fixtures throughout the season.
The picturesque ground – the Jury Field - is situated in the centre of the village near the Crown Pub, and next to the village hall.
If you would like to play for Martley CC, or be involved with the club, we welcome all new members young and old, with any levels of experience. Please call Patrick on 07429 502 580.
During 2012, Junior nets are being held every Friday at Martley CC. Times are approx 7-9 for Juniors – daylight depending. Senior nets will be held on Thursday nights 7-9. Please feel free to come along - this is the best way to introduce yourself (or offspring!) and get involved! Just ask for one of the captains or the youth co-ordinator when you arrive.
Please would anyone affiliated with the club (playing or non-playing!) register on the site by following the link below. This allows us to calculate averages, communicate club news/events etc
